Where it all started

 

Skin is a beauty brand’s stock. In a world where Black cosmetic business owners work twice as hard for half the recognition, we wanted to make sure we create an online store that sells beauty products for Women of Color with branding and packaging design that demands the attention it deserves. Bold and beautiful brand messaging from packaging to makeup shade selections, BeMe embodies the values and mission of their founders to create a seamless digital and physical experience.

BeMe’s was designed to make a significant impact with each glance. Our Creative team curated a simplistic but transferable logo that can be transferred on any design in the future.
BeMe’s founders wanted to create an experience that welcomes inclusion to women of color. Our creative team made sure to reveal BeMe’s cosmetic line’s capabilities by showcasing their range of shades for their clients.

Inspiration

 

Sharing 3 initial concepts with the client generated interesting results. Out of “Textures,” “Funky Chic,” and “Secret Ingredient,” we decided to combine the first two in order to represent the boldness and uniqueness in Beme’s brand messaging.

Impact

 

BeMe founders wanted to stand out and be different. From the very beginning they wanted the brand to visibly translate it as a skincare company by Women of Color for Women of Color. The custom patterns and elegant typography create standout brand messaging to highlight the African roots of this skincare brand in digital marketing, web, and packaging.
